Thanks for the great article. I am 24, started around age 19 after serious thinning and a lot of frontal hair loss. I\’ve tried everything (aloe vera, different oils, onion, amla, reetha, shikakai, methi, tulsi, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic and vitamin r capsule) but nothing is working. So I\’ve decided to try Finasteride. Finasteride (Propecia) has made my hair loss stop completely so far. No side effects that I notice, I take half a pill every day (.5mg). My insurance didn\’t cover Finasteride. So I got it online (thanks google). My uncle gave me this keyword * STOP99BALD * and he said just Google it. Hope this helps

How does Minoxidil works ? – Minoxidil is a vasodilator. It enlarges blood vessels and works on the active hair follicles by increasing blood flow and, subsequently, nutrition to the weaker hair. Thus, Minoxidil only works on active hair follicles and not the dying or the dead ones. This preventive remedy prevents further hair fall and reduces the rate of ‘hair follicle miniaturization’ that causes the hair to weaken before dying of completely. The follicles enlarged by Minoxidil tend to remain in the growth phase for a longer period of time. Thus, Minoxidil hair loss cure acts as a “life support” for the dying hair.
See if hormonal causes are at play. The most common cause of thinning hair for both men and women is a hereditary condition in which sex hormones cause hair to fall out in a particular pattern. While male or female pattern baldness is permanent, there are certainly measures you can take to slow it down and treat it.
I’ve been taking Biotin since I can remember so I don’t particularly notice a lot of growth from it. But I do notice when I don’t take it, my hair feels weak and looks dull. I notice the biggest difference in my nails, which grow SO fast and get really tough when I’m regularly taking Biotin. Biotin enhances the proteins that make up your hair. That makes your hair really strong, which helps it grow.
Your hair needs a regular supply of vitamins and minerals – such as vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, iron, calcium, biotin, zinc – to grow healthy and strong. Fruits and vegetables like orange, banana, berries, kiwi, apple, apricot, green leafy vegetables, cauliflower, carrot, pumpkin, and melon must be eaten in sufficient amounts as they provide the necessary nutrients that are required for the healthy hair growth.
Lower your stress. Since being stressed out can cause hair loss, taking measures to decrease your stress level might help to slow it down. If you lead a high-stress life, try the following measures to calm down on a daily basis:
There’s no cure for male-pattern baldness, but some medications can slow it down. Minoxidil is an FDA-approved, over-the-counter treatment you apply to your scalp. It slows the rate of loss and helps some guys grow new hair. But once you stop using it, hair loss returns.
Hi, i am a 16 year old that has a high probability of becoming bald due genetics. Due to my father, uncle, grandfather qnd recently my cousins have hairs that are thinning. Even though i have thick hair,i can see that when i was younger i had even thicker and longer hair. Now i see a decrease. I was wondering if this male pattern baldness can be stopped permenently forever? and would i have a chance to grow my hair out really long?
A little farther up the follicle is the mysterious feature called the bulge. That’s where follicle stem cells live. When they get the right set of chemical signals, these self-renewing cells divide. They don’t divide like normal cells, in which both halves become new cells that keep splitting and developing. Only one half of the follicle stem cell does that. The other half becomes a new stem cell, and stays put for future regeneration.
Because a transplant leaves an unnatural hairline if your hair loss progresses. And I don’t know what would happen if you would somehow manage to grow your hair back (hypothetically, using future treatments). know about DHI.
Anxiety about male pattern baldness actually dates back to the Ancient Egyptian era. Reference the Ebers Papyrus, a medical text from 1550 B.C. that documented medical cures for hair loss. So in other words, remedies do exist. That’s your cue to sigh in relief.
Baldness is a condition denoted by an absence of hair. According to University of Virginia Health System, it is usually detectable on the scalp, but other places bearing hair can also undergo hair loss. It is found to be most prevalent in men.
Reality is, if finasterise is so safe, why doesn’t merk market this drug as a vaccine for hair loss? For every man north of 18 to take this drug to prevent the possibility of balding? It’s safe, so why not? Truth is the science isn’t clear that either AR inhibition or DHT reduction is safe. All we know is that merk did a study and were able to publish data that suits their agenda.
First, how it works: Finasteride blocks an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase, which changes testosterone into DHT – which may lead not only to an enlarged prostate but also to hair loss. It also increases testosterone levels which stimulate hair regrowth (but doesn’t affect hair growth in other parts of the body).
Try Chinese hibiscus flower that may help promote hair growth, cure dandruff, and thicken hair. Mix flowers with coconut oil, heat until charred and strain to collect the oil. Apply to the scalp at bedtime and leave it on for overnight. In the morning, wash your hair and repeat a few times a week.
