Prescription finasteride (sold under the name Propecia) and at-home laser treatments, such as the FDA-approved HairMax Ultima 12 LaserComb, have also been shown to be effective. The key to halting your hairline is ultimately finding a hair loss regimen that works for you. A doctor is your best bet for that kind of guidance — but we can definitely tell you which treatments your scalp (and your wallet) should steer clear of.

While ReGrow Plus addresses some causes of hair loss it doesn’t address DHT levels which is the leading cause of hair loss.

I noticed years before that my part on the top of my head seemed to be thinning out. I tried to tell myself it was my imagination. Then, I was asked to try Rogaine Foam for Women for giving my honest opinion. I honestly had given up most hope, and thought I’d have to get surgery or just accept the fact that I was going to be a 40-year old balding woman.

Hi, Iam a a young man close to my mid 20’s. I am worried about my receeding hair lines, have not used any drugs yet but still making research on what i feel is best for me. Minoxidil 2% Hair Regrowth Treatment For Women is a hair loss solution that is designed to restore your hair and enhance* its overall health. It claims to help your hair to regrow into a thicker and healthy hair.

Provillus Hair Growth Treatment is actually a combination of dietary supplement and topical solution that work together to stop the development of androgenic alopecia and to stimulate the regrowth of new hairs. Including in its composition natural ingredients such as Saw Palmetto Extract, Uva-Ursi Extract, Magnesium, Biotin, Muira Puama Extract, Eleuthero Root, Stinging Nettle Extract and Horsetail Silica Extract, Provillus treatment does not cause any negative side effects.

I am thinking of using minoxidil to spot treat part of my receding hairline. The patchiness is not really that bad and it’s been concentrated on one side for a few years without getting worse, but I can’t really change the style of my hair much, and that’s the biggest issue for me since I get bored very easily.

Minoxidil is definitely worth a try before you do a hair transplant. It works differently compared to finasteride, instead of addressing the main cause of hair loss (DHT), it focuses on regrowing hair. So since you’ve got the DHT part covered by finasteride, there’s a good change minoxidil might regrow some hair and help stop future hair loss.

One of the very main and common reasons for hair loss in women is physical or emotional stress. Divorce, a big surgery, trauma, etc. can all be major stress-inducing factors, and, therefore, one may experience a significant amount of hair-loss during this period. It happens as a result of your body putting effort into directing its resources towards getting you through the situation. Physical changes like sudden weight loss, high fever, etc., can also result in hair loss.

A very important nutrient for hair health is iron. A low number of red blood cells in the body can cause iron-deficiency anemia, therefore making it necessary to eat iron-rich foods. Other reasons for anemia induced hair loss can be that of your body not properly absorbing the nutrients, loss of blood, pregnancy, illness, etc.

*Live free from stress by believing JESUS, casting every worry you have on Him and be free from life’s worry-you can’t change it by stressing your body. Because He CAME to rescue you from all this imperfect life –for there is no god who can come and die for you so that you can live! It is free to trust Him, you will be so much happier. You will be saved. Take His word(bible). God bless you.

Hair loss from chemotherapy can have a big effect; the best way to treat and regrow your hair is using natural hair regrowth products. Hair loss can create a negative aura that affects the way you think about yourself. If you happen to suffer from hair loss, natural hair regrowth products have the power to heal the scalp from damaging chemicals. If not treated with the proper hair growth product, more damage could be caused by harsh chemicals.

Hi Sherrie! If you are still looking for a solution that is not full of toxins, sulfates, parabens … you know the junk that really messes up your hair, clogs your follicle so it can’t breathe which means your hair can’t grow …

Hi, great article. I have an aggressive form of MPB. I am 23 year old with a NW2 hairline, diffuse thinning over the top and crown. Been on 5% Minoxidil and 2% Keto for about 9 months. Went through a period of shedding which has reduced somewhat in the last couple of months. I don’t see any appreciable increase in density anywhere but I do see plenty of thin vellus hair at my hairline. I am waiting for the 1 year mark to see the full effect of this regime. Is there like a test you can do to assess hairfall? Or do we just have to count the hair lost in the shower? Do you reckon I should start the Fin to hold on the the hair I have? Like most guys (actually a bit more than most guys seeing that I am young) I worry a lot about being in the 2% who experience disastrous sides from Fin. I do plan to check my DHT levels before I start, if I do at all, to see if I naturally have high/low DHT. That should tell me what to expect, to an extent.
