Detangler will not make your hair grow, but when you have long hair you need to keep it tangle-free. Tangles lead to breakage, which means your hair is growing and breaking at a stready rate so it won’t grow as fast as you want it to.

Besides Argan oil, this shampoo contains PURA D’OR’s DHT blocker formula. DHT is a hormone that causes hair loss. This shampoo works to limit DHT so hair doesn’t thin and fall out as fast. It keeps follicles healthy.

Our own tests showed that it was a good product, but we all know that supplements don’t always work the same way for everyone. Even though PhytoWorx Hair Recovery seems to have a very good formula, it still has a few unnecessary ingredients and negative reviews ended up knocking it down to the #2 spot. That said, if you don’t mind taking a chance, this product might work for you.

SAW PALMETTO SAW PALMETTO SAW PALMETTO!! Hair loss cured. 38 year old female. Hair was shedding fast. Male pattern baldness on a female is not good! had a full CBC done, and nothing! Have lost all faith in DR’s, so don’t waste your money!! Shen Min Hair regrowth!

Earlier, baldness was associated with old age, but today, even young people are affected by it. Bad lifestyle choices, including lack of proper nutrition and stress, has made baldness all pervasive. While it is common in males, a small population of women too deals with this embarrassing hair issue. But is there a way out apart from the expensive option of hair transplantation? YES!

Ask your doctor if you should take finasteride. Finasteride (marketed under Propecia and Proscar) is an oral prescription and somewhat more effective than minoxidil. It works by binding to the enzyme that would otherwise convert free testosterone to DHT.[9]

It’s a good shampoo that will leave hair soft and eventually fuller looking, but if you are suffering from an abundance of hair loss or hair fall, then you may not see the results you want with this one.

Just recently one day I woke up and I noticed that there was a small patch of hair missing it messured about 1 1/2 inch on the left side of my hair, I haven’t been taking any pills or any shampoo, I just turned 31 in January what can it be? and how can I cure it?

According to the American Hair Loss Association, nearly two-thirds of men experience some degree of hair loss by the time they are 35. By age 50, as many as 85 percent of men experience hair loss and thinning.

Procerin is an exception as it is already making name as an all-natural alternative for hair loss. Manufactured by Speedwinds Nutrition Inc., it is fully packed with potent herbal component that mercilessly block DHT production, thus, preventing hair loss and encouraging new hair growth.

Another name for hair loss post-pregnancy is Telogen Effluvium. A fall in the estrogen levels after pregnancy leads to this condition. It mostly happens in the 3 to 6 months period after pregnancy. Telogen Effluvium is a very common cause of hair loss among women; an average of around 40% to 50% women experience hair fall for a temporary period of time post-pregnancy.

  1. This prescription pill slows down your body’s DHT assembly line. Some men have been able to grow new hair while using it. Many experts think it works better than minoxidil. Pregnant women shouldn’t touch the drug — it can cause birth defects in baby boys. Like minoxidil, it works only while you’re using it.
Thank you. This has been the most helpful article I have read! Very much appreciated! Last question (I won’t bug you with anymore after this) . . . I was tested by my doctor and came out perfectly healthy so it is either stress or MPB. My job is extremely stressful so it could be that but I have no way or knowing for sure. As such, do you think there is any harm on me taking finasteride even if it isn’t MPB and is just stress? I suppose if the medicine didn’t work, I would know it was stress and not MPB. Also, I assume this is something I would continue to take for life right?
For the short primer: Hair continuously grows out of a single follicle for a period of about four years, all the while being nourished by surrounding cells. The follicle then undergoes a short hibernation phase of about three months, recuperates, and sheds the current hair strand attached to it before starting production back up. At any one time, about 10 percent of our follicles are in that resting state while the rest are happily pumping out luscious tubes of keratin.
I’m 18 and just recently moved away from home for college about two months ago. Since then, I’ve realised the amount of hair loss i have each day is a lot as compared to last time. I’ve only dyed my hair twice. Once was last November and the second time was 2 and a half months ago and both times were only dip dyes. The colour/bleach in no way touched my scalp but could this be the reason I’m losing hair? My hair doesn’t exactly come out when I comb or brush it but it usually comes off by itself. My hair used to be really thick to the point where i had to get it layered since it was too hot and too bulky but nowadays, I felt like my hair’s way flatter. My roommate tried to convince me that it’s normal loose up to 100 hairs per day but just last night after shower, I noticed at least more than 20 loose strands as I was leaving it to dry.
