Hair oil massage was the first technique I used to diminish my hair loss problem. I applied hair oil massage every morning after bathing, using oils like castor oil, coconut oil, amla oil, almond oil and olive oil. These oils helped to increase blood flow to my hair follicles as well as condition my scalp and enhance the strength of my hair roots. Heck, they also helped to promote relaxation and ease feelings of stress.

(9) So avoid hot showers that can dehydrate hair, making it weaker and more prone to thinning. A lower temperature on hair (and skin) will help preserve moisture.

Fast-forward a year: my hair has out a great deal. I was pulling out clumps daily and I had massive hair fall. I searched the internet and realized it was the overuse of dry shampoo (as it is literally the only thing I have ever put in my hair). Since then my hair has lost its darkness and is not nearly as full as before. I can’t even put my hair up without very sparse areas being visible. This has never happened to me in my life and I have become very depressed as a result. I just turned 20 last month!
Nizoral recommends using their shampoo twice a week to fight dandruff. If you choose to try this to help stop hair loss, you may want to use it more often than that simply because this is the over the counter strength version. Talk to your doctor to get the prescription-strength 2% kind.

Barely 5 percent of women are said to be good candidates for hair transplant surgery because women lose hair everywhere, meaning that, unlike with men, there is rarely a luxuriant spot on the back of the head from which to harvest hairs unobtrusively.
Hi, I need help quite desperately. The first photo that I have posted was 6 years ago, when I was 16. The second photo is a few days old. I’m 22 now and in the years between the two photos, I have suffered from stress, anxiety and depression. This is the only thing that I can think of that has caused the hair fall since I exercise regularly and eat healthy food. For some years, during college, My sleeping habits were terrible. I wouldn’t sleep at all or would sleep only in the day for months. I suppose this could also have something to do with it. I really want to grow my hair back!!!! Please help!! Also, I have long curly hair. Because it is curly, I oil regularly, for extra smoothness but also use copious amounts of conditioner. It just isn’t manageable without conditioner. I’m afraid though, that all my hair will fall out soon. PLEASE HELP! The third photo is of my hair type. Long and curly.
Sometimes a supplement is all you need. “The combination of fish protein, vitamin C, zinc, biotin, and niacin in Viviscal supplements encourages the body to produce healthier, thicker strands,” says New York City dermatologist Joshua Zeichner. ($50, viviscal.com)

Hair doesn’t make the man. Remind yourself of everything else you have to offer. Or take care of things you can control, like staying in shape. It’s OK to look to others for support. And if you need a little inspiration, think of bald men or guys with shaved heads who ooze confidence, like The Rock, Vin Diesel, and Pitbull. Consider yourself in good company.
